Our Story...

Our Vision & Mission...

We have been providing local families with support through pregnancy and early parenthood since 2016 and were previously known as Derby Community Parent Programme (DCPP).

Connected became an independent, not-for-profit organisation in June 2021 and has built on the original programme & grown, developed & shaped the service to best meet the needs of the local community.

We pride ourselves on offering a safe and sustainable perinatal support service for all new and expectant parents across Derby.

I love my job because I get to meet the most amazing people every day. Whether it is supporting our volunteers as they train to become peer supporters; or meeting families and being privileged to hear their stories – I’m always inspired by the passion & commitment that the volunteers bring to their role. My job genuinely gives me such a buzz! I love being out & about where I got to see the real difference our volunteers make for their communities. I’m super proud of how hard the volunteers have worked providing a real source of support for families during a very challenging time.
