Connected
(Previously known as Derby Community Parent Programme)
We recognise that every family’s pregnancy, labour, birth and early parenthood experience looks different – there is no one size fits all! This is why we offer a range of free peer support services to suit every family!
Supporting brighter futures, one pregnancy at a time...
Pregnancy, Birth and Beyond.
Golden Thread
The overall aims of the service are to provide a safe, effective service that promotes independence and develops communities.
100% of the core staff team began as Connected volunteers and are all trained perinatal peer supporters, therefore, from the moment parents first connect with the programme they begin receiving an element of peer support. As a result, trust is built with a service rather than one individual.
